SmithCo president and CEO Scott Lovell sat down with Forbes’ Jim Vinoski to discuss the company’s 2023 installation of Yaskawa welding robots.

SmithCo’s welding robots were brought in after the team identified welding as a bottleneck in the manufacturing process, in addition to a shortage of skilled laborers available to help meet projected production goals.
