SmithCo's Education Session Presentation

Smart Tech in Site Prep: Accelerate Timelines and Drive Profitability with Grayson Edwards from Global CM LLC and Stephen Moyna from Moyna Consulting. This session highlighted site preparation projects that use tractors and side dump trailers instead of traditional scrapers and haul trucks. Our case study demonstrates how this approach reduces operating and maintenance costs while increasing efficiency.

Additionally, specialized scraper operators are no longer required, simplifying staffing needs. Off-road trailer tires also enable work in wetter or harsher conditions, providing greater flexibility on challenging job sites.

SmithCo side dump trailers are the safe and efficient way haul construction, aggregate and demolition materials. Haul a variety of materials ranging from dirt, rocks, construction debris and more! Our trailers are made-to-order, built to meet your specific needs. Connect with us to see which trailer is right for you.

Prunty Construction

Prunty Construction, based out of Brookings, SD, continues to add to their fleet of SmithCo trailers. They haul materials such as dirt, gravel and sand, but say they will haul anything that can be put in the tub.

“We keep coming back to SmithCo because they always stand behind their product," said Brock. "If there is an issue, SmithCo finds a way to correct it. The trailers are far more robust than any other brand and hold up much better. They don't twist as much as others and have much larger tubs. The lower center of gravity helps to feel more stable when travelling down the road.”
