In the event that air is introduced into your hydraulic system, you will want to take the following steps to purge the air out of your hydraulic system. If you do not get the air out of the system, you may experience a delayed response time or excessive free fall during the dump cycle.
STEP 1: Prepare your system
Once you have ensured that your hydraulic tank is full, engage your PTO. Using the dump switch, return the tub to the frame.
Suck the tub onto the frame and hold in that position for 3-4 seconds.
STEP 2: First Cycle
Dump the tub 1/3 of the way.
Return to the frame and suck down, holding for 3-4 seconds.
STEP 3: Second Cycle
Dump the tub ½ way.
Return to the frame and suck down, holding 3-4 seconds.
STEP 4: Third Cycle
Dump the tub ¾ of the way.
Return to the frame and suck down, holding 3-4 seconds.
STEP 5: Fourth Cycle
Dump fully. Actuate by holding control for 3-4 seconds.
Return to the frame and suck down, holding 3-4 seconds.
STEP 6: Repeat
Dump the tub fully, 3-4 times.
The air should now be purged from your hydraulic system.
