LE MARS, IOWA (August 8, 2024) – SmithCo Mfg., Inc., the industry leader in side dump trailer design and manufacturing, will take its industry-leading side dump trailers on the road to three major agricultural trade shows this month. Two of the shows will mark a debut appearance for SmithCo.

The SmithCo tour kicks off August 13-15 at Wisconsin Farm Technology Days in Cadott, WI. The show booth will feature a SmithCo model CP30 with 54” sileage extensions. The trailer can be found in the booth of SmithCo Dealer Bluff Country AG & Equipment (Booth #407-408). It will be the first appearance for SmithCo at this show.

SmithCo has exhibited at Dakotafest in Mitchell, South Dakota, for many years. They will be there again August 20-22. In addition to the CP30, SmithCo’s booth will feature a Medium High Volume side dump trailer (model MHVSR). You can find SmithCo at Booth #446.

The third stop for the SmithCo CP30 will be at the Farm Progress Show near Boone, Iowa. This will be the first time SmithCo will exhibit at the show, which runs August 27-29. The whole SmithCo Sales Team will be on hand to talk with farmers about the versatility of having a SmithCo trailer on their operation. SmithCo will also have an MHV trailer in the booth.

SmithCo will also be welcoming special gust Cole Sonne of YouTube-Famous channel “Sonne Farms” to the booth on Tuesday, August 27 from noon – 4 pm. Sonne is a fourth-generation corn, soybean and cattle farmer in South Dakota. He documents daily operations on his YouTube channel for 286K subscribers, many of whom are in the agricultural trades. You can find Cole and SmithCo at Farm Progress Show Booth #1146.

“The agricultural industry has had to really battle this year,” said Todd Karolczak, SmithCo’s Director of Sales & Marketing. “So, we are looking forward to presenting some customized solutions to farmers that can help their operations run more efficiently. We hope everyone can make it to the shows and chat with us about America’s #1 side dump trailers.”
