LE MARS, IOWA (December 30, 2024) – SmithCo Mfg., Inc. has reached an agreement with A&H Equipment Company in Albertville, Alabama, and Kohlhof Trailer Solutions in Dannebrog, Nebraska, to sell SmithCo’s premium line of side dump trailers.

“We are making a concentrated effort to grow sales into the Agricultural market,” said Todd Karolczak, SmithCo’s Director of Sales & Marketing. “A&H has many contacts in the poultry industry. As a manufacturer’s representative, they will help us introduce the side dump concept into the Southeast. Kenny Kohlhof, as a cattleman himself, will help educate Nebraska producers on how SmithCo trailers can improve efficiency and reduce maintenance headaches for these operators.”

A&H Equipment has served the Southeast’s bulk feed delivery industry for 47 years. Brothers Jake and Brad Biddle purchased the company in 2013. The two are also part owners of Circle A Manufacturing, which builds bulk feed delivery trailers in Alexandria, Alabama. As the Biddles sell and service their feed delivery equipment, they will also be selling the SmithCo trailers that are best suited for handling poultry litter and other uses on the farm.

Kenny Kohlhof moved to central Nebraska in 1985. He was in the trailer business for 15 years before starting his own businesses. Kenny has been in the transportation business for 40 years as well as production agriculture for the last 25 years.
